Coriolis, Book 4
Ebook ISBN: 06563-02111
The Coriolis crew is headed to Geren. The planet is nothing more than a vast network of prisons and was once the Syndicate’s pride and joy. Now, it’s a hotbed of crime where the disillusioned and disparate disappear to when they don’t want to be found. Once there, Carter enlists a group of former Marines, and they help him set up a base of operations.
Dr. Ash Mracek licked his lips, and a tremor ran through his body. Cargo ropes secured him to a steel pipe overhead, his body stretched, toes barely touching the metal floor. A bead of sweat trickled down his spine and between the cheeks of his ass. His heartbeat had yet to slow down. Every nerve felt alive, from the tips of his fingers to the soles of his feet. He ached to touch the clothed body just a few inches from his own.
“I know you’ve never been on Geren,” Carter Therres said. “Do you remember what I told you about it?”
Ash nodded. “Yes, Sir.”
The captain smiled and stroked a finger down Ash’s throat, over his sternum, to his navel. He stopped before reaching Ash’s aching cock. “There are many things there I want to get for you. Some of them you may enjoy, some… you may not like right away.”
Ash wanted to ask what sort of things, but Carter knew what he could and couldn’t handle. Ash trusted the man with every fiber of his being. He’d also grown to love Carter, but that was something he had yet to voice. He didn’t doubt the captain cared for him, but before Carter came along, Ash had long since given up on humanity, much less the possibility of love.
Carter circled him, close enough that Ash swore he felt heat radiating from the captain’s uniformed body. “What would the rest of the crew think if they saw you strung up like this?” he whispered in Ash’s right ear. He reached around and pressed a button. The com screen flickered on, revealing the bridge and every soul on it. “Do you think they can hear it when I do this?”
A sharp slap landed on Ash’s left ass cheek and he jerked, gasping, fingers gripping the ropes. Ash’s heart pounded and he licked his dry lips. The sting from Carter’s hand lingered, the pain sweet and thrumming through Ash’s veins. Another followed and a moan escaped. Ash tried to rock back, desperate for more. Carter chuckled in his ear.
“Perhaps I should see if they have some of the antiquated exam tables on Geren.”
The possibilities drew a shiver up Ash’s spine.
“You would enjoy that, wouldn’t you?” Carter’s fingertips drifted down between the cheeks of Ash’s ass. “Strapped down, unable to move a single muscle while I inspected every inch of your body.”
Ash whimpered softly. Pre-come beaded at the tip of his cock. Hands pried his buttocks apart, and he felt Carter kneel behind him. Warm breath ghosted over his hole.
“Hmm, yes, I do believe a thorough inspection is in order, my good doctor.” One of Carter’s hands left, then returned a moment later. Two slick fingers eased into Ash’s ass, and he gasped, entire body shaking. Carter stood, fingers still buried inside. “Have you ever taken a man’s hand, Doc?”
Ash’s eyes rolled a little and he shivered. “N-no, Sir,” he murmured. That wasn’t to say he’d never thought about it. He might have been celibate for years before Carter, but he had a hell of an imagination.
“You’re hiding something from me.” Carter twisted his hand the slightest bit, and his fingers pressed against Ash’s gland.
“Sir!” Ash went rigid, the urge to come riding a razor’s edge. “Please!”
“Not until you tell me.”
Ash’s hold on the ropes tightened, and he struggled to escape the relentless strokes on his prostate that threatened to drive him over the edge without permission. “F-fantasies,” he gasped. “Oh, God, please…”
“Details, Doc,” Carter demanded, pressing and rubbing a bit harder.
Ash cried out and shook, his cock and every nerve in his body nearing the breaking point. “Strapped down, forced to take a fist,” he panted. “Filmed, guards holding my legs open.”
Behind him, Carter groaned. “Good boy.” The touches didn’t stop, but Carter’s other hand closed around Ash’s cock. “Now you can come.”
Ash shouted, shaking in Carter’s arms as semen spilled over Carter’s fist, and his ass clamped tight around his lover’s fingers. Carter growled softly, and the muscular body against Ash’s shuddered. Panting, Ash slumped, letting the ropes keep him upright. Carter eased out of him and wiped them both off before untying Ash. Ash dropped into the captain’s arms, his own limbs feeling like jelly.
“Shh, I’ve got you.”
Carter carried him to the bed and laid him down carefully. Ash opened for a kiss, moaning into Carter’s mouth, losing himself a bit more in the process. Carter ended the kiss and smiled down at him, brushing a stray bit of hair from Ash’s face. Ash stared into those blue eyes, the ache deep inside something far different than anything he’d ever felt before.
“What is it?”
“I…” Ash swallowed, unable to get the words out. He shook his head.
“It’s okay, Ash. Whatever it is, you know you can tell me.”
The concern in Carter’s eyes nearly did Ash in. Fear kept him silent, though, as it always had. “Maybe another time,” he said.
Carter smiled, but Ash noticed that it didn’t quite seem as easy as it usually did. “Understood. When you’re ready, I’m here.”
“I know. Thank you.”
* * *
“Approaching Geren, Captain.”
“Get us docked as quickly and quietly as possible, Jordan.”
Carter scanned the latest news they’d managed to get. The Syndicate was in disarray after the deaths of two of its top people: Joseph Galloway and Grace Baldwin. Carter still hadn’t quite come to grips with Grace’s betrayal and neither had the Coriolis’ crew. He shoved those thoughts away and focused on the reports.
“What’s the word?”
“Seems like our friends on Earth are reeling from the murder of their head man.” Carter glanced over at Joren Russell. The former Leader of the Syndicate — and the one who’d pulled the trigger on Galloway — shrugged. “They haven’t been able to find us, though, not since Grace’s death.”
“How is the crew taking that one? I know she served with you quite a while.”
Carter sighed and straightened. He raked a hand through his hair. “As best they can. We trusted her, never knew the truth.”
Joren leaned back against the command console and crossed his arms. “Carter, I learned years ago to put my trust in only a very select few. When I went from being an officer to being the Leader, that list dwindled to nearly nothing: you, Ash, Morgan. I would trust each one of you with my life.”
“You hadn’t even seen Morgan for what, sixteen years before he joined us,” Carter pointed out.
“Doesn’t mean I didn’t trust him. Hell, I never stopped loving him.” Joren smiled when the man in question stepped off the elevator and approached them. “Are we ready?”
“Yes, but I still think it’s a stupid idea for you to step foot on that planet.”
Joren reached out and snagged Morgan’s belt with one finger, dragging the Marine close. “Your concerns are noted.”
“So you’ve told me.”
Carter chuckled and shook his head. Joren and Morgan were two of the best snipers in the military and incredibly strong-willed. When they got together, though, it turned into a battle of wills with neither of them inclined to give an inch. They were like oil and water. Or, given some of the arguments they had, fire and gasoline.
“Docking now,” Jordan announced over the com.
Carter headed for the elevator. He had to give his own lover instructions should something go awry while the rest of them were on the planet. Geren was a hotbed of crime, but it’s where the disillusioned ex-military guys hung out, guaranteed they wouldn’t be bothered. The elevator door opened, but before he could step onto it, Ash walked out.
Carter blinked. “What?”
Ash glared at him. “I refuse to sit around and wait. I can do more good down there than on board the ship.”
“Ash, Geren is dangerous.”
“And protected by some of the most sophisticated security systems in the galaxy,” Ash shot back. “Who, may I ask, can hack through those systems besides me?”
If they’d been anywhere else, Carter probably would have turned Ash over his knee just to give the man something else to focus on. As it was, he had to admit Ash made sense. The professor was a walking supercomputer. A sexy, deliciously submissive supercomputer. Their scene just a couple hours ago threatened to derail Carter’s brain completely.
“Earth to Carter.” Ash smirked and moved closer, hazel eyes half-closed.
“You know damn well I’m taking this out on your hide later,” Carter muttered.
Ash licked those wickedly talented lips. “I’m looking forward to it. Sir.”
